Monsson proudly participated in the recently concluded 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 held at Nord Events by Globalworth in Bucharest. This impactful two-day event gathered leading figures from the renewable energy sector, government officials, and industry representatives, all dedicated to advancing the transition towards sustainable energy solutions.
The summit featured dynamic discussions, workshops, and an interactive expo focused on crucial topics such as investments in renewable energy, grid stability, energy storage, and sustainable recycling. Monsson contributed significantly to these discussions by hosting a workshop titled 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐔𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐄, which was held on the first day of the summit.
In this workshop, industry experts shared valuable insights into the latest innovations and trends in energy storage. Notable speakers included 𝐒𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞, Head of M&A at Monsson; 𝐌𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮, Head of ESS Management; and 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐮 𝐂𝐢𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐮, CEO of Prime Batteries Technology. Together, they discussed the pivotal role of energy storage in enhancing the reliability and efficiency of renewable energy sources.
One of the key highlights of the workshop was the presentation of Monsson’s groundbreaking battery energy storage solution, which boasts a capacity of 216 MWh, making it the largest of its kind in Southeast Europe. This innovative technology is poised to play a significant role in modernizing energy systems and addressing the growing demands for reliable energy sources.
The discussions also encompassed the economic benefits and challenges associated with deploying energy storage systems, exploring various business models and financing options for these projects. Participants engaged in dialogue about the impact of energy storage on grid modernization, emphasizing the importance of enhancing grid stability and resilience through advanced storage solutions.
